An 18x13 oval amber gemstone sits within the center of a bracelet cuff, in sterling silver, consisting of many hand made ivy leaves and vines. I've also made two of the leaves, which border the stone, in 14K gold. The bottom leaf, under the amber, is hinged, which means it moves back and forth, thus relieving any pressure points when worn. It flexes with the movement of the wrist and hand. Fun to play with, too!

I have to admit I don't normally like combining gold and silver, but you've really pulled it off. Sometimes it can look a bit gaudy in my opinion, but looks really elegant in this piece and it brings out the color of the amber.
