Artist's Comments

This is another headpiece crown for weddings, or ceremonial purposes, or even high end costuming events.

Any thoughts to this? There's no stone set, nor is it polished, but feedback is welcome. I'm not sure about the hanging down twist part in the front or the stone size....

More pics of it here:

it is absolutley beautiful. i think the stone size is nice. is this for a male though? becuase if it is i think the hanging down twist part is sort of feminine. i might do without that. but otherwise its amazing.

Gorgeous piece, I think the size of the stone setting is great, it brings it a nice focal point.

I am not sure about the twisted piece on the forehead, it seems to distract the eye slightly from the stone and does not fit with the rest of the swirls.

But again it's just beautiful and something I'd love to have.

Thank you for your thoughts on this and, I also, think the twist part in the front is just a bit too delicate looking for the rest of the piece. I thought I liked it and then the more I see it, I think it just doesn't quite belong there. But I'm glad the stone size and the rest of the headpiece works and pleases the eye. Thank you!

I guess it could be for a guy...hmmmm...so, yes I would have to agree that the twist wouldn't be a masculine touch on the piece. :) I think I will take it off the headpiece because the more I see it, the more out of place it looks. Thanks for your thoughts and for your kudos! :)

if you do ever set a stone, i would use either malachite, hematite or opal. but this is absolutely beautiful either way.

I think it's fantastic... how about one of the light green stones in front? or even a moonstone?

I like the front twirly bit, in fact I'm a fan
:iconcamias:
LOL! Thank you! I am still up in the air with the twist in the front...but as far as stone choices, I was thinking of a blue mist chalcedony or a white-creamy stone choice...or even a jade myself. I guess any stone would work as it's all dependent upon the person who wants to wear it. Now I need to find a way to interchange stones easily in these pieces.
