I think this is an interesting piece. Probably one of my favorites I've done in a while. It grabs me because I'm unsure what the design is, or what to call it...yet, there's something familiar and organic about the design. Perhaps this is why it would make a wonderful accessory to any outfit. You can dress it up or down, depending on your occasion and mood.
This is entirely fabricated in sterling silver with an 8mm blue sapphire cabochon set in the center. I've made a small, approximately 2mm sized 14K gold ball on the left side. The lower portion has a curlicue design, with sterling beads, and again, one single 14K gold bead placed with a celestial feel, and is attached hinged style, so that it will dangle and move. |
